Dixie Ann Middleton has practiced extensively as a lawyer in the area of Family Law in both rural and urban Queensland since 1983.

She has had her own boutique Family Law Practice in Brisbane City since June 1992.  She has acted in thousands of matters over the years to assist people in resolving disputes relating to financial matters including deceased estate administration and arrangements for their children.  This assistance has been in the form of negotiating and advocacy in various Courts, both State and Federal.  She has also participated in community educative programs as a presenter.
